The Shuttle 2.0
In progress
The shuttle was great, wasn’t it? It is by far my most favourite bit of engineering I have ever seen. The idea of such a design was so uncalled for and yet it took the work by storm. The capabilities of the shuttle were far ahead of its time, classifying as a higher-end heavy lift launch vehicle even to the standards of today. Even now, the shuttle has a capability that no other spacecraft has. The ability to bring a large satellite back down from orbit is a capability that the shuttle shares with only the russian counterpart, the buran. Now with both of them retired, humans have lost such an extraordinary machine. All they do now is sit around in a museum. But what if I had something to say about that? What if I could fix the problems that are associated with the launch vehicle? Then surely the program will start again. Won’t it? By far, this is going to be the most ambitious project ever, but the benefits are limitless. And that is a reason enough to try.

One of the main issues with the rocket is the fact that it uses SRBs (Solid Rocket Boosters). These rocket motors, although cheap, are rather unreliable. Liquid engines are expensive and much harder to maintain. So we need an engine that can be cost effective and reliable. So I’ve opened a side project for this issue. A hybrid engine capable of air breathing and closed cycle combustion. So basically, it can use the oxygen in the atmosphere during ascent and once too high for that, change to using internal oxidiser stores.
Writing Pieces

A light novel about a 16 year old kid who goes to Cambridge University. Yep, a 16 year old boy. He meets an unlikely acquaintance in the airport on his way to London during the journey to the university city: A young girl of his age and her caretaker, an elder psychology professor who works at the university works at the university as well. However, the girl, the daughter of a late psychopath, has had a history of behavioural traits that may lead her to taking a disturbing life. The professor plans to make a deal with the boy in order to use him as a partner for the girl. The boy has one job, as a partner, try to figure out her psychology and pull her away from self destruction. Problem is, the boy himself is already engaged in a battle against his own chaotic mind.

There some exceptional books out there with fascinating plot lines and extremely well crafted characters. However, they are becoming rarer by the day. Stories become cliches and characters are forced into situations that are caused by decisions that don’t make sense for that character. Writers care so much about what other people think that they become scared to break from the norm. So I have decided to break from the normal and create a story that isn’t afraid of any ending or plot. Characters will do what they feel based on everything they have experienced and their cognitive development. It won’t be afraid to tear apart any relationship nor to make any character from favourite to hated. The real world is dynamic and so I will match that. Be prepared for the ride of your life.
A Hallowed Romance
In progress
I’ve been quite interested in a certain trope more recently, yanderes. Yanderes are people who show obsessive traits and usually violent responses to love. Try to get close to their beloved? A knife down your throat. Talk to their beloved without permission? You risk your tongue being cut off. Make their beloved cry? Be tortured in far away basement and die a slow and painful death while you see your intestines hang on the wall. Pretty violent, right? They usually stalk their love interests as well and find out everything about them. I mean, EVERYTHING. Even what they do during their private time. A yandere school girl is the usual trope however they can be both genders of ages eight all the way to fifty. These are just estimates. But they all have one thing in common: a person they idolise and obsess over. While reading about them on reddit. I came across a rather interesting challenge. Write a story about a yandere. But not the usual stuff. This time, not only are characters dynamic and have free will but the story will not be afraid to kill off any character ANY character, including the protagonist. there is no good nor bad. No right nor wrong. Purely a chaotic story. Don’t get me wrong, it’s order within chaos. Everything that happens shall be simulated, multiple outcomes analysed and the best and most accurate string of events shall be crafted to the best of my ability.
